Walked in with a group of 5 for a bachelorette party and was immediately impressed by how clean and cool it looked! The artist that was there was very nice, and explained that the artist that would tattoo us, for our walk in tattoos for the 5 of us, would be there soon! Both artists that came in after were very nice! The artist that did our tattoos, Jackson, was very attentive and took the time to make sure they were what we wanted before we moved further! As he did each of them he laughed with us, listened to music and had a fun time! Our tattoos look amazing and his lines are so clean!! I live 2 hours away but I will definitely be back! The price was fair and the overall atmosphere was just a fun experience!!

While visiting Indy for the 4th of July weekend, I knew I was finally ready for my fine line wrist tattoo. So my bf said, “I know a spot” I couldn’t believe it was Black Ink Indianapolis!
I couldn’t contain my excitement because I’m from Chicago and loved watching Black Ink Chicago!
So on a whim we walked in and ask if anyone had time to do a simple Two word tattoo. Within fifteen minutes I finally met my artist MO!

Is talented and has impressive fine line work skills. He took time to listen to the details and my reason for the tattoo. He is very patient! Especially during the placement of my tattoo.
In less than 5 minutes I was admiring my new tattoo!
Mo instantly captured what I was envisioning.
To say I’m just a satisfied customer is an understatement. If your looking my for talent so I’m and ask for Mo!!!! Shoot I already have my next three tattoo sessions in the book!

I took my wife into Black Ink Indianapolis on 7/29 to get a tattoo for her birthday. It was both of our first time visiting this parlor. Upon entering we were immediately impressed at how nice and clean it was and it had a good chill atmosphere. My wife was assigned to Jamie Moore. She was awesome. Super fast and precise. She listened to and followed every detail my wife wanted for her new tattoo. She worked and acted very professionally and very clean. 5 stars for JMo! We will definitely be back again.

Went there hoping for consultation for a memorial piece honoring my brother. There was a young white guy sitting at the front desk. He was incoherent. This was going to be my first tattoo and it was very important to me. Every time I asked a question he would just say "yeah we can do that ". He was looking around like he was waiting for someone to bust through the door. A customer came in. She had a appointment. He told her the artist hasn't come in yet. So she called him and he was there. How do you miss a whole man walking in. At this point I decided to leave. This wasn't the place I wanted to get my first tattoo that had a special meaning. Very disappointed.

Went in April for consultation put down $100 deposit and scheduled an appt for May. Was told the fee was $100 an hour and that deposit would go towards that. I wanted 5hrs worth of a tattoo. Arrived for my scheduled appt, waited 6hrs for artist to show up, then was pushed off onto another artist who charged 500 for a 2 hr tattoo which is not what I was quoted. They did give me a $100 discount for my wait but then over charged me so there really wasn't a discount. The quality of the work was good but not $500 worth.
