This was my first ever tattoo. My lovely artist was ⭐️Kristen⭐️!
She was so sweet and very knowledgeable. She walked me through every step of the process and made sure I was always aware as to what was happening. On top of that, she was such a wonderful personality. She quickly eased my nerves and we ended up laughing and talking through the whole session.
Most importantly, Kristen is sooooo talented. I got a tattoo of my cat and it looks exactly like him. She clearly knows her craft and knows it well. She's a fantastic artist!
Bonus thoughts:
I'm a Mormon and yes, I got a tattoo. I was worried what the reaction would be but it wasn't even a problem. I'm so happy I finally got a tattoo, no regrets. 😉 So shout out to any Mormons out there considering a tattoo, do it do it do it!!

Amanda who set my appointment was amazing and very helpful.
Jackie checked me in and got the paperwork started and was very nice to deal with.
And then Maddie did my tattoo and it came out amazing!
I travel for work and am trying to get one in all 50 states. So, I really appreciate how quickly they got me in, how great they were to deal with and of course, the great piece of art I collected!
Highly recommend!!!!

I visited Raventhorn Manor last week and I have to say it was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. The tattoo shop is located in a creepy old house that looks like it belongs in a horror movie. The staff are friendly enough, but they seem to have a dark sense of humor and a fascination with the occult. They have all kinds of weird decorations and artifacts around the shop, some of which look like they came from ancient tombs or cursed rituals.
The tattoo artist who worked on me was named Raven and he had a very Gothic style. He did a great job on my tattoo, but he also seemed to enjoy inflicting pain on me. He kept whispering strange things in my ear, like “this will make you stronger” and “the spirits will love you”. He also had a creepy laugh that sent shivers down my spine.
The worst part was when I started hearing voices and seeing things that weren’t there. I swear I saw shadows moving across the walls and heard whispers coming from the corners. I felt like someone was watching me from behind the curtains or under the floorboards. I even thought I saw a ghostly figure standing behind Raven at one point, but when I blinked it was gone.
I don’t know if it was just my imagination or if there was something supernatural going on, but I couldn’t wait to get out of there. As soon as Raven finished my tattoo, I paid him and ran out of the door. He gave me a wicked smile and said “come back anytime”. No thanks!
I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values their sanity or their soul. It may be great work and convenient, but it’s not worth the risk. If you’re not looking for a haunted tattoo shop in Salt Lake City Utah, stay away from Raventhorn Manor!

Kristen is a fantastic artist. Working with her has been fun and interesting. And I love the work she is doing! This week I sit for the 4th multi-hour session to complete a custom sleeve below my knee. The evolving exchange with her over the design has been easy and productive. Selection of imagery and arrangement has been totally collaborative. It’s scarification, right? So sessions entail some discomfort, but they are akin to a spa appointment, I emerge feeling invigorated and taken care of. I chose Kristen due to her interest in science and nature illustration, and because she can draw - that was critical. Felt comfortable and trusting when I walked into the place, and those feelings have increased over time. Highest recommendation for working with Kristen - great artwork, terrific individual, rich experience!
